Advertising on the web has many forms, from pay per click text adverts, to fully animated movies in pop up windows. From banner ads to audio clips, and each has there own pros and cons.
It is all too easy to start with the wrong kind of advertising, aim at the wrong audience, or spend to much money and see almost zero response. Then you feel like it can't work and back away from it completely.
