The Challenge

The clients were a part of a large national financial company, who had seen the need for a niche social networking system. The original plan was fairly vague and needed the actual way the site would work planning out, to achieve a business flow as well as a site flow.

The site had a fixed deadline for stage one as the client had already booked a stand at a major industry exhibition! However we achieved this and the site continued to grow as new features were added over the next few months

How we approached it

We were given basic visuals but these were at print sizes, so a complete redesign was started. While the client liked the result we actually re did it again as we were not convinced and once the client saw the second attempt they were over the moon!

The site itself has all the functionality of MySpace or Face book but with detailed profiles for the financial sector and geo searching using a postcode database.

The client also needed full control over banners adverts from other sources, being displayed throughout the site and a comprehensive newsletter module

A very large site with user accounts, blogs, newsletters, groups, favourites, extended profiles and a whole lot more
