Energy in Water is a multi-national project, led by Anglia Ruskin University and they have officially been awarded the very first 2016 Cluster Partnership of the Year award. The award is designed to benefit SMEs and aid their growth which is wonderful news for Energy in Water.
The Cluster Partnership award provides European Strategic Cluster Partnership projects with the opportunity to further promote their activities and this was the first year that the award was launched.
About the Awards
All eligible European cluster partnerships were invited to get involved. The twenty-five EU-funded cluster projects which were competing for the award were spread across different sectors but they all connect SMEs with external organisations to develop international relationships.
A panel of international experts shortlisted three partnerships, including Energy in Water. The shortlisted candidates were then required to each do a short presentation on their promotional activities before the audience voted for the winner.
The 2016 Cluster Partnership of the Year award was given to Energy in Water at the European Cluster Conference in Brussels. The award was presented by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform.
